When you’re shooting a wedding at the Belmont Mansion, you get excited. It’s a historical landmark and an incredible setting for a wedding. And when you’re shooting it for a fun couple like Leah and Andrew, you get even more excited. This was another Lori Quarles wedding that she gave me the opportunity to second shoot with her, and I can’t thank her enough. It’s not every day that you get to shoot a ceremony at the beautiful Belmont Mansion.
The reception followed at the W. O. Smith Music School complete with a killer live band that rocked it all night long. Unfortunately rain loomed all day long, dumping buckets most of the afternoon, prohibiting us from using the beautiful exterior of the mansion the way we wanted to. I love it when couples are so excited to get married that their love outshines the little things that inevitably don’t go 100% according to plan though. Luckily for us, the interior of the mansion was just as beautiful, and a little rain couldn’t put a damper on the love Leah and Andrew shared. They had an incredible day, and the rain subsided later in the evening so that they could top the night off with an incredible sparkler exit.

Leah and Andrew opted for a first look. We as photographers always love when couples do this…and the couple always love it too.

This little guy always had a crowd around him!

Leah and Andrew couldn’t stop smiling.

It doesn’t get much more happy than this! Even looking at these images now puts a smile on my face.

I’m pretty sure they didn’t even know anyone else was in the room during their first dance. So in love.

I love this job. :)
